و رغم أن المظلي البريطاني "جيمس دوب" البالغ عمره 22 عاماً قد فحَصَ مظلته جيداً ، لكنه لم يتنبه إلى خطأ في طي أجزاء المظلة الأمر الذي جعلها تفتح مبكراً جداً وهو يغادر الهليكوبتر قافزاً ! لتعلق خيوط المظلة بالطائرة ويتعلق معها الجميع في معركة بين الحياة والموت على ارتفاع شاهق ! وسط مخافة أمرين أولهما حياة المظلي "دوب" من جهة وثانيهما هو خطر أن تتلف خيوط المظلة العالقة مروحة الطائرة وبالتالي كارثة يتوقع أن تكون وخيمة على الجميع لو حصلت .
لكن بعد ثوانٍ قليلة واتت "دوب" فكرة رائعة ! إذ أنه قرر قطع مظلة الهبوط الأساسية وتركها لأصدقائه يستعيدونها ، بينما اعتمد في هبوطه على المظلة الاحتياطية فقط في شجاعة نادرة أنقذت حياته . و كانت معها نهاية هذه الحادثة المرعبة .
