A rainy start to the last day of the year 2024 in Jordan, and this is what we expect for the coming hours

Arab Weather - Large parts of the north and center of the Kingdom, thank God, are still under the influence of rain clouds accompanying the low pressure system centered to the southeast of the island of Cyprus, as the aforementioned areas witness showers of medium and heavy rain, sometimes accompanied by showers of hail.

The Arab Weather forecast team is monitoring the amounts of clouds that have crossed towards central Palestine coming from the Mediterranean Sea, carrying with them medium and heavy rains and hail. It is expected that the same clouds will continue to advance towards the northern and central parts of the Kingdom, which will lead to continued rainfall during the coming hours.

Forecasts indicate, thank God, that the Kingdom will continue to be affected by the low pressure system on Tuesday, with the weather being very cold in the morning hours and cold during the day, and partly to mostly cloudy, with occasional heavy rain accompanied by hail, extending with less intensity to parts of Karak and Tafilah.

Weak chances of light freezing rain on some southern mountain peaks.

Arab weather experts also see a weak chance of some freezing precipitation in the form of light snow on the towering peaks of the Sharah Mountains, such as Jabal Mabrak, Al-Haisha, and the peaks of Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Rashidiyah, and God knows best.
