ويأتي ذلك نتيجة لتمركز مرتفع جوي للشرق من المحيط الأطلسي مما يدفع بمنخفض جوي وكتلة هوائية باردة عبر غرب أوروبا إلى شمال غرب القارة الإفريقية، ويؤدي ذلك بدوره إلى الدفع بتيارات هوائية أكثر حرارة وجفافاً من المُعتاد لمنطقة الحوض الشرقي للبحر الأبيض المتوسط بما فيها المملكة إعتباراً من يوم الأحد القادم، وسيمتد الارتفاع ليطال وسط الأسبوع كذلك بحيث تفوق درجات الحرارة مُعدلاتها بما يُقارب الـ7-9 درجات مئوية، وهنالك إشارات مبدئية لإنخفاض كبير على الحرارة نهاية الأسبوع بمشيئة الله.
إلى ذلك يتوقع أن تظّل درجات الحرارة أعلى من مُعدلاتها لمثل هذا الوقت من العام بحدود 2-3 درجات مئوية يومي الثلاثاء والأربعاء، على أن تنخفض درجات الحرارة لتصبح حول مُعدلاتها إلى أقل بقليل خلال أيام الخميس وحتى السبت وسط أجواء ربيعية لطيفة نهاراً وباردة نسبياً ليلاً في الجبال.
