Weather of Arabia - In a statement, the Ethiopian Airlines stated that safety is its most important priority, so it directed flights to Addis Ababa to make an emergency landing at alternative airports, and will return to its original destination when the weather improves.

The fog covered most areas of the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, especially the Bole International Airport area, on Monday morning (July 26). This disrupted air traffic and changed the destination of a number of flights coming from Bole International Airport to nearby airports, according to Ethiopian Airlines.
 

The company apologized to its customers for the inconvenience caused by the weather, adding: "We will keep you updated on the status of flights."

Ethiopian Airlines, which is more than seven decades old, has 116 aircraft in its fleet, and is one of the largest airlines in Africa.
