Hailstorms of devastating sizes cause extensive damage in Daraa province, southern Syria

Arab Weather - As the region is affected by unstable weather conditions, images and footage have emerged showing large and destructive hailstones falling in Daraa Governorate, southern Syria, as a result of the strong thunderstorms that passed through the region in the past few hours.

The weather conditions were accompanied by locally heavy rainfall and heavy hail during a short period of time, which caused serious damage in a number of areas, including damage to vehicles and public and private property.

The information received also indicated that a number of solar panels were damaged by the intensity of the hail and the strength of the thunderstorm.
