Arab Weather - The latest weather forecasts indicate that strong winds will continue to blow across Oman and the UAE on Sunday, accompanied by cumulus clouds in some areas and occasional thunderstorms of varying intensity.

Rain is expected to cover the Sultanate of Oman and the UAE during the noon and afternoon periods, including the Al Hajar Mountains and Musandam Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman, with the possibility of further expansion in the coming period, with scattered rain showers of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, active downwinds, and hail.

According to the UAE National Center of Meteorology, there is a chance of cumulus clouds forming, accompanied by rain and active winds that will raise dust and sand, reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h in some eastern and northern areas, from 12:00 PM until 20:00 PM on Sunday, 08/06/2025.

It is a seasonal wind that blows in certain areas of the Arabian Peninsula, specifically in the Sultanate of Oman and some areas of the Arabian Gulf during the summer, especially in the months of June and July. Its characteristics include:
