موقع ArabiaWeather.com – تتحرك الجبهة الباردة الممطرة إلى سلطنة عمان خلال يوم الأحد، و تعقبها هبوب رياح شمالية غربية نشطة إلى قوية، و تؤثر على مسطح الخليج العربي و بحر عمان و دول الكويت و السعودية و البحرين و قطر و الإمارات و سلطنة عمان.
و تكون الرياح باردة نسبيا و تتسبب في انخفاض في درجات الحرارة و اضطراب شديد لمياه البحر. و يرجع سبب تلك الرياح إلى قدوم مرتفع سطحي على شمال شبه الجزيرة العربية بالإضافة إلى وجود منخفض جوي على جنوب غرب آسيا، و تكون فروقات الضغط عالية و تهب رياح سطحية نشطة إلى قوية و تزداد سرعة على شرق الخليج العربي.
و يتوقع أن تكون أعلى سرعة للرياح في الكويت و البحرين و قطر و عمان و شرقية السعودية بين 30 و 50 كم في الساعة و قد تتسبب في إثارة الأتربة و الغبار و تدني الرؤية الأفقية، و يتوقع أن تكون أقوى في مناطق شمال شرق الإمارات حيث تكون بين 40 و 60 كم في الساعة. و تكون الرياح قوية أيضا على شرق الخليح العربي و شمال غرب بحر عمان حيث قد تصل الرياح إلى 50 - 60 كم في الساعة.
