A 5.9-magnitude earthquake in southern Iran is felt in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia

The observatory added that about the severity of the earthquake, it was "perceived in the country and has no effect on the country."

This news comes a day after the official Iranian news agency stated that "an earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale hit the city and port of Jarek in Hormozgan province (southern of the country), while the director of the emergency department in the province announced that this earthquake did not result in any losses." .
