موقع ArabiaWeather.com - تعرضت سلطنة عمان في الليلة الماضية و فجر و صباح الأربعاء 24 أبريل 2013 إلى عواصف رعدية قوية أثرت على مناطق متعددة في محافظات الباطنة و الظاهرة و الداخلية و مسقط و الشرقية، هذه العواصف الرعدية أدت إلى هطول أمطار غزيرة و جريان الأودية و سقوط بعض الأشجار بسبب الرياح الهابطة و تكسر زجاج العديد من السيارات بسبب حجم البرد الكبير الذي تساقط مع العواصف الرعدية، و قررت وزارة التربية و التعليم تعطيل الدراسة في كل المدارس ما عدا محافظات البريمي و مسندم و الوسطى و ظفار.
يذكر أن الأمطار بدأت في السلطنة من يوم السبت الماضي لكن بدأت تأخذ طابع الشدة و الغزارة ابتداء من يوم الأثنين، و حذر موقع طقس العرب من غزارة الأمطار و خطرها على سلطنة عمان التي تتأثر بحالة استثنائية من عدم الإستقرار التي من المتوقع أن تستمر في الأيام القادمة أيضا و حتى بداية الأسبوع المقبل.
