Urgent | Clarification regarding the extension of the 95th Saudi National Day holiday

Arab Weather - The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development clarified in an official statement that no decision has yet been issued to extend the 95th Saudi National Day holiday this year.

The Ministry indicated that the date of the 95th Saudi National Day holiday is Tuesday, September 23, 2025 AD, corresponding to Rabi' al-Thani 1, 1447 AH, and that employees and students will return to work and study on the morning of Wednesday, September 24.

The statement emphasized that the 95th Saudi National Day holiday falls under the annual paid official holidays, and includes employees in the public and private sectors, in addition to educational staff, including administrators, teachers, and students.

The Ministry noted that the 95th Saudi National Day is a national opportunity to celebrate and express feelings of pride and belonging, but its duration is subject to official decisions that do not allow for speculation or rumors.

Chances of weather fluctuations on the 95th Saudi National Day

In this regard, experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center believe that the chances of weather fluctuations on the 95th Saudi National Day will be likely in some highlands of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, extending to the highlands of Makkah and Taif during the days of celebrations of the 95th Saudi National Day, specifically in the afternoon and evening hours, accompanied by the following phenomena:

• Cumulus clouds will appear in the afternoon and evening hours, and the weather will turn partly cloudy to cloudy.
• Occasional showers of rain may occur, possibly heavy in narrow geographical areas.
• The same rain clouds are accompanied by thunderstorms and possibly lightning.
• Downward winds that stir up dust and dirt during thunderstorms
