The importance of using the “kushok” tire burning technique with the aim of generating smoke was emphasized. It helps protect crops, especially in low-lying areas.

For his part, the head of the Farmers Union, Mr. Adnan Khaddam, confirmed that there was no frost or freezing on the farms and nurseries, noting that the weather condition was warm except for the past 48 hours . Khaddam explained in his interview with the media that the potato crop was affected by some damage in The northern regions, especially in Wadi Al-Rayan, are affected by early and late blight, noting the need for farmers to spray their crops to protect against upcoming blights.
