Arab Weather - The latest weather maps, resulting from what is called computer simulation, indicate expectations that several parts of the Sultanate of Oman and the Emirates will be affected by the activity of what is called the "Rawaih rains," coinciding with an influx of easterly moisture from the Arabian Sea, which leads to the development of unstable weather conditions on a daily basis in many areas.

The latest weather maps indicate expectations of cumulonimbus cloud activity in the afternoon hours daily over several parts of the Hajar Mountains, especially the western and central Hajar Mountains, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity, which may sometimes be accompanied by thunder and hail, leading to the flow of valleys and streams.

There is also an opportunity for clouds to flow and form over parts of the coasts and mountains of Dhofar Governorate, with local thunderstorms expected, God willing.

Regarding the UAE, it is expected, God willing, that thunderclouds will form over the eastern highlands and sometimes extend to some inland areas, accompanied by summer thunderstorms.
