Ghana: One person infects 533 others with Coronavirus

Weather of Arabia - A worker at a fish factory in Tema, Ghana, which borders the Atlantic Ocean, has infected another 533 workers at the plant with the Coruna virus, according to Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Ghanaian health authorities announced the outbreak of the virus at that industrial facility late Friday night, but gave no details.

"One person injured 533 people," Akufo-Addo said. The president did not give details of how the disease spread in the factory or whether safety measures were in place there, according to Reuters.

This brings the total number of cases in Ghana since the pandemic was first reported in that country in mid-March to 4,700 as of Sunday evening, which is the highest number of cases in West Africa.
