موقع "طقس العرب" - سنان خلف - تسببت الإضطرابات الجوية والسُحب الركامية القوية في اليمن، وتحديداً تلك التي أثرت على المناطق الحدودية المُحاذية لمرتفعات جازان بنشوء عاصفة رملية قوية واندفاعها مباشرة نحو محافظة الطوال، مُتسببة بخفض مدى الرؤية الأفقية إلى 500 متر في بعض الأحياء.
 
يُذكر أن المرتفعات الغرببة والجنوبية الغربية من المملكة إضافة لمرتفاعات اليمن تتعرض منذ يومين لأحوالٍ جوية غير مستقرة، تسببت بتشكل السحب والعواصف الرملية وتساقط الأمطار.
