In turn, the Ministry of Water and Irrigation clarified the Jordan Valley Authority that as a result of the heavy rains and the high water level in the Yarmouk River under the Al-Wahda Dam, the water level in the Jordan River increased significantly, which prompted quantities of water to enter a number of agricultural units in the northern Jordan Valley and the projects, which number about (15) The unit adjacent to the riverbed within the border region.

The Ministry stressed the need to take the necessary precautions by making mounds and fenders to protect the units adjacent to the river to the Dead Sea, indicating that a committee from several sides will determine the volume and quantities of water entering these units and assess the reality.

She pointed out that the sudden rise does not continue for a long time, and soon it recedes and fades.
