موقع ArabiaWeather.com- كشفت السلطات الماليزية عن سقوط المزيد من الضحايا جراء موجة الأمطار الغزيرة والفيضانات التي ضربت ماليزيا خلال اليومين الماضيين إلى 1242 شخصاً، وما زالت الحصيلة مرشحة بالزيادة مع استمرار أعمال البحث عن المفقودين.

 

وكان مجلس الأمن القومي الماليزي قد صرح قبل أيام بأن الأمطار الغزيرة والفيضانات أحدثت دماراً واسعاً في البنية التحتية. وتُعتبر ساراواك المنطقة الأكثر تضرراً من غزارة الأمطار، حيثُ تم إجلاء نحو  8218 شخصاً إلى مراكز الإغاثة.

 

ولا يزال سوء الأحوال الجوية مستمراً حتى الآن في مختلف الولايات الماليزية بسبب تواصل هطول الأمطار الرعدية الغزيرة، الأمر الذي يُنذر بوقوع المزيد من الأضرار وارتفاع اعداد الضحايا والمنكوبين نتيجة الفيضانات الي تُعتبر الأسوء من نوعها مُنذ 40 عاماً.
