It will be accompanied by significant changes in the weather and temperatures. The following are the effects of the cold wave in detail:

The Levant: The weather will be very cold, in contrast to the recent weather, while it will turn very cold at night, with temperatures dropping below zero degrees Celsius in large areas, especially the Levant desert and plain areas, with high chances of frost formation and freezing in areas with water accumulations and areas witnessing snowfall.

Iraq: A sharp drop in temperatures, cloudy and cold weather prevails in most areas and very cold over the mountainous heights, and God willing, showers of rain fall on areas of the north, center and west of the country, which will be frozen from time to time, with snow falling over the mountain peaks in the northern regions, and the polar winds deepen on Sunday and Monday nights and coincide with some precipitation, which will be in the form of snow over some areas.

Saudi Arabia: The Kingdom is affected by a severe cold wave, concentrated in the north of the Kingdom, where temperatures drop sharply and very cold weather prevails in those areas, while temperatures drop to zero degrees Celsius and perhaps below that in the northern regions of the country, and the weather is extremely cold with a state of freezing.

Kuwait: A drop in temperatures and activity of northwesterly winds carrying large amounts of dust, with the effect of the cold winds on the country deepening on Monday and Tuesday, when temperatures drop noticeably and tangibly, approaching zero degrees Celsius at night in the west of the country, and the weather turns very cold.

In light of the severe cold wave that will affect the region, we recommend heating plants and livestock to avoid damage caused by the severe cold.
