How is a raindrop formed?
Our story begins when water vapor condenses in the atmosphere and collects in the clouds. The condensed water molecules meet together and begin to unite to form small drops of water inside the clouds. These droplets continue to unite with the water molecules, gradually increasing in size as the water around them condenses. When water droplets become large and heavy enough to remain in the cloud, they fall to the ground as raindrops. Gravity plays an important role here, as it is what pulls the water droplets downward.
Finally, raindrops reach the surface of the earth, are picked up by flowers, and the soil is refreshed by their touches, bringing life to the environment and contributing to the renewal of the water cycle.
