Riyadh season kicks off for the first time

The Riyadh Season was launched for the first time in the year 2019 AD, and its activities were distributed over 12 locations in the city of Riyadh, with an area of 14 million square meters. The festival days set for it when it was launched on October 11, reached 70 days , then it was extended for several additional days after the number of visitors reached more than 7 million people, bringing the total number of visitors to the festival to more than 10 million.

Riyadh Season 2021 kick-off date

The Saudi capital is preparing to launch the second Riyadh season, after stopping in 2020 due to the pandemic of the Corona virus, as the "Riyadh Season 2021" will start on October 20 , under the slogan "Imagine More" , with events covering an area of 5.4 million square meters, The events will extend for more than two months, until the date of December 25 .

In this regard, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority, Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, revealed impressive surprises for the first time in the Kingdom.

He also posted on his Twitter account, a 5-minute explanatory video of the activities, revealing the presence of 14 entertainment areas in Riyadh, more than 7,500 activities, a 3-km walkway, more than 200 restaurants, cafes and stores, 4 theaters, an international arena, and 500 games. electronic, and 9 international studios.

In addition to a golf course, 12 paddle tennis courts, and the world's first and largest mobile skyloop, with a capacity of 40% and more.

The video also indicated that poetry evenings will be held, as well as a special poetry exhibition and poetry performances for the dialogue, in addition to the experience of fighting in 5 eras, riding war tanks, shooting with live ammunition, and 15 interactive shooting ranges.
