A dust wave is being monitored across Egyptian territory towards the Kingdom, and a warning is issued regarding a further increase in dust concentrations in the coming hours.

Arab Weather - The latest satellite images available within the Arab Weather app, which track dust movement, indicate that a wave of dust is heading towards the Kingdom in the coming hours across Egyptian territory. Upon reaching the Kingdom, it could lead to an even greater increase in dust levels in the atmosphere than it is now.

Since Sunday morning, the Kingdom has been affected by a Khamaseen depression, accompanied by a warmer-than-usual air mass, which has led to a rise in temperatures and a shift in the weather to dry and dusty conditions of varying intensity.

Arab Weather warns against reduced visibility due to dust, especially on desert roads. We advise patients with respiratory and eye conditions to avoid going out unless absolutely necessary to avoid direct exposure to the dust.
