موقع ArabiaWeather.com- أعلن مدير عام مطار الملك خالد الدولي، عبدالعزيز بن سعد أبو حربة، أن المطار حقق المركز الخامس للربع الأول من عام 2016، في ترتيب المطارات الدولية بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط المشتركة في مقياس جودة الخدمات ASQ للمطارات؛ وفقاً لبرنامج تقييم المجلس الدولي للمطارات لقياس جودة الخدمات التي تُوَفّرها المطارات الدولية.
وجاءت النتيجة وفق استبيان وُزّع على المسافرين للنظر في آرائهم واقتراحاتهم حول خدمات المطارات ومدى جودتها، كما حقّق المطار نتائج عالية في غالبية فئات التقييم؛ كان أعلاها ما يخص كفاءة العمليات التشغيلية والأمنية، وتلك المتعلقة بإجراءات السفر وتدقيق الجوازات وجودة الخدمات التي يتم توفيرها للمسافرين.
ولفت "أبو حربة" النظر إلى أن المطار يسعى إلى تلبية تطلعات المسافرين في الحصول على خدمة عالية الجودة بمرافق المطار؛ وذلك في إطار اهتمام المسؤولين بتعزيز مسيرة تطور خدمات النقل الجوي في المملكة.
