Regarding the weather and the possibility of heat waves, forecasts still indicate that the hot air masses will not penetrate the region enough to allow heat waves to form, at least for the next five days. The penetration of hot air has so far been limited to normal increases in temperatures.

Conditions for a heat wave to form over the region

For a heat wave to form in the region, temperatures must rise by 5 degrees Celsius or more above the average for a period of 3-5 days. This has not happened in the Kingdom to date, despite the rise in temperatures on some days and the hot weather that has prevailed in the Kingdom.
