موقع ArabiaWeather.com – عمر الدجاني- لقي 107 أشخاص مصرعهم في أفغانستان بسبب موجة الأمطار الغزيرة و الفيضانات التي ضربت المناطق الشمالية و الشمالية الغربية من البلاد، و ذلك بحسب وكالة الأنباء الأفغانية.

 

الأمطار الشديدة تسببت في مُغادرة الآلاف لمنازلهم، و اعتبار مئات الأشخاص في عداد المفقودين،علماً بأن أغلب الضحايا هم من النساء و الأطفال.

 

أغلب حالات الوفاة سُجلت في محافظة جوزجان،حيثُ تم تسجيل 55 ضحية بسبب الظروف الجوية وضعف البنية التحتية.

 

وأعرب الرئيس الأفغاني حميد كرزاي السبت عن حزنه الشديد لهذه الواعة،كما أمر السلطات المختصة بتقديم مساعدات فورية لكل من أصابته هذه الكارثة.

 

على الصعيد المادّي، داهمت المياه عشرات القرى و مساحات زراعية واسعة  ودمرت نحو الفي مسكن وقضت على ثمانية آلاف رأس من رؤوس الماشية.

 

تأتي هذه الأحوال الجوية في ظل تأثر أجزاء من وسط القارة الآسيوية بحالات ربيعية عنيفة من عدم الاستقرار الجوي ،مما يتسبب في تشكُل السيول الجارفة،خاصة مع طبيعة أفغانستان التضاريسية الصعبة و الوعرة.
