و تظهر الصور التالية تراكم الفرق في كميات الأمطار المتراكمة على سطح الصحراء قبل و بعد سقوط الأمطار الغزيرة في صحراء الربع الخالي، حيث تظهر بقع المياه باللون الأخضر.
