In the twenty-four hours preceding the reading, the highest temperature was recorded at 21.9 degrees below zero.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Just before 8am GMT on Saturday, the temperature reached minus 29 degrees Celsius according to the Yer-No website.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> &quot;Last night was probably the coldest,&quot; Martin Granerud, a meteorologist at Norway&#39;s meteorological service, told state television NRK.
