The Levant: The weather will be very cold and inspired by the winter square, in contrast to the atmosphere that prevailed last week, while it will turn to severe cold during the night hours, with temperatures dropping below zero degrees Celsius in large areas, especially the Levant desert and the plain areas, with high chances of frost formation and freezing in areas of water accumulations and areas that witnessed snowfall.

Iraq: A sharp drop in temperatures, cloudy and cold weather prevails in most areas and very cold over the mountainous heights, and God willing, showers of rain fall on areas of the north, center and west of the country, which will be frozen from time to time, with snow falling over the mountain peaks in the northern regions, and the polar winds deepen on Friday/Saturday night and coincide with some precipitation, which will be in the form of snow over some areas.

Saudi Arabia: The Kingdom is affected by a severe cold wave, concentrated in the north of the Kingdom, where temperatures drop sharply and very cold weather prevails in those areas, while temperatures drop to zero degrees Celsius and perhaps below that in the northern regions of the country, and the weather is extremely cold with a state of freezing.

Kuwait: A drop in temperatures and activity of northwesterly winds carrying large amounts of dust, with the effect of cold winds on the country to deepen on Sunday and Monday, when temperatures drop noticeably and tangibly, approaching zero degrees Celsius at night in the west of the country, and the weather turns very cold.

In light of the severe cold wave that will affect the region, we recommend heating plants and livestock to avoid damage caused by the severe cold. It is preferable to cover sensitive plants using protective covers or heavy fabrics, while ensuring that a source of heating is provided for livestock in closed places or barns.
