Weather of Arabia - Sinan Khalaf The National Center of Meteorology raised the alert level in the eastern region to a warning, in conjunction with the region's increased vulnerability to unstable weather conditions.

The National Center warned of thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rain, including Jubail, Dammam, Khobar, Qatif, Ras Tanura and Dhahran.

Many of the eastern and central parts of the Kingdom are affected by a state of atmospheric instability, which leads to the formation of cumulus thunderstorms and rains of varying abundance.
