Ministry of Works: Ajloun road is open with caution due to snowfall

Arab Weather - The ministry said in a press release issued by the Media Unit, that the desert road is traversed with caution due to the formation of dust due to strong winds, and in Ajloun it is also traversed with caution due to snowfall.

In a press statement, the ministry called on citizens traveling on all external roads to take the utmost care and caution as a result of dust formation in some areas, especially desert areas, calling on road users to follow the instructions of its cadres working in the field and cadres of partners in the Public Security Directorate.

It also warned citizens who are on the roads of the danger of slipping and low horizontal visibility as a result of heavy rain, calling on citizens to stay away from torrents and valleys and take the utmost caution and caution, and not hesitate to contact the emergency rooms to report any emergency situation or observation during the prevailing weather conditions, coinciding with the weather conditions. affecting the kingdom.

The Ministry confirmed its readiness to deal with the expected weather conditions through its 98 field teams distributed in the various governorates of the Kingdom, noting that it conducts periodic inspection tours to areas experiencing heavy rainfall and all regions of the Kingdom to ensure the sustainability of services provided to citizens and to address any observation immediately.

The ministry indicated that it is conducting permanent and continuous coordination with its partners in the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, the Public Security Directorate, the Ministry of Local Administration, the Greater Amman Municipality, the Crisis Department, and the Meteorological Department to ensure that any notice that arrives is addressed immediately and in the interest of the citizen and according to the government approach followed .
