موقع طقس العرب - حثت وزارة الصحة السعودية، حجاج بيت الله الحرام على العناية بنظافتهم الشخصية، كغسل اليدين جيداً بالماء والصابون، أو المواد المطهرة الأخرى المخصصة لذلك، خصوصاً بعد السعال، أو العطس، مع المحافظة على النظافة الشخصية، وكذلك استخدام المناديل عند السعال أو العطس والتخلص منها في سلة المهملات خوفاً من انتقال الأمراض التنفسية المعدية.
وشددت على استخدام الكمامات في مواقع الازدحام والتجمعات واستبدالها بانتظام، وتجنب التعرض للإنهاك الحراري وضربات الشمس باستخدام المظلة الشمسية، وتجنب التعرض المباشر للشمس قدر الإمكان .
ونبهت إلى استخدام أدوات الحلاقة ذات الاستعمال الواحد، وعدم مشاركة الآخرين في أدواتهم الشخصية التي قد تؤدي إلى الإصابة ببعض الأمراض المعدية الخطيرة كالتهاب الكبد (ب) و (ج) وغيرها ، والتخلص من الفضلات بوضعها في أكياس مغلفة ووضعها في الأماكن المخصصة لذلك ، داعية إلى الابتعاد عن المأكولات والمشروبات المكشوفة للوقاية من التسمم الغذائي.
