7 children die due to severe cold in Gaza, according to the United Nations

The United Nations had previously warned that "children's lives are at risk due to the low temperatures in the Gaza Strip."

The government media office in Gaza announced on Monday that "the number of deaths due to the severe cold and frost waves among the displaced in the tents has risen to 7 deaths in one week." Several days ago, residents found the body of nurse Ahmed Al-Zaharna frozen from the severe cold in his tent, which he had been displaced to in the Al-Mawasi area west of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
