Summer rains are expected in northern Syria.

Arab Weather - The latest outputs of weather models indicate an increased chance of the formation of cumulonimbus clouds during the coming days in parts of northern Levant, coinciding with the flow of moisture in the different layers of the atmosphere and the rise in surface temperatures, which provides a suitable environment for the emergence of a state of atmospheric instability.

The chances of rain are mainly concentrated in the northern and coastal regions of Syria, in addition to some mountainous areas in Lebanon, where cumulonimbus clouds are expected to multiply during the afternoon and evening hours, and produce thunderstorms of varying intensity, which may sometimes be heavy in narrow geographical areas and are accompanied by lightning and thunder activity.
