Jordan: After the warmth of spring, a cold air mass is expected to bring back the winter chill to the Kingdom at the end of the week.

Meteorological stations recorded temperatures around the mid-20s Celsius to slightly higher than that in neighborhoods of the capital and various major cities, where the weather tended to be noticeably warm during the daytime hours and its coldness decreased at night, but many people resorted to reducing their clothing.

The atmosphere will change from the warmth of spring to the cold of winter, and a change in the weather is expected at the end of the week.

Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said the semi-spring-like weather the Kingdom is experiencing is merely a temporary phenomenon, lasting until Wednesday before a significant change in the weather occurs at the end of this week and the beginning of next week. This is due to the region being gradually affected by a cold air mass, which is causing a noticeable drop in temperatures and a return to winter-like cold, particularly during the night hours.

Sunday, February 16, 2025: Temperatures will rise slightly, and the weather will be spring-like and warm in various regions, becoming hot in the afternoon. The weather will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Monday and Tuesday, March 17-18, 2025: Temperatures will remain 10-12°C warmer than usual. The weather will be spring-like and warm in various regions, becoming hotter in the afternoon. The weather will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with high clouds appearing.

Wednesday, March 19, 2025: Temperatures will begin to drop by 4-6 degrees Celsius compared to Tuesday. Thursday and Friday, March 20-21, 2025: A cold air mass will affect the Kingdom, causing a sharp and significant drop in temperatures compared to the previous situation. The high will be around 11°C in the capital, Amman, on Friday. The weather will be relatively cold to cold, with clouds appearing at various altitudes, with a chance of local rain in some areas.
