The head of the Greater Irbid Municipality Committee, Imad Al-Azzam, lost the winter emergency teams that work around the clock within the boundaries of the Greater Irbid Municipality.
Al-Azzam said that since the start of the storm until Thursday night, the municipality dealt with approximately 32 complaints, all of which were resolved immediately. Most of them were related to the high water level in some streets and the blockage of drainage manholes due to the accumulation of waste and dirt inside them.

Al-Azzam confirmed that the city did not witness any critical complaints or anything that threatens the safety of citizens and facilities, indicating that the municipality dealt with a large rise in the water level in Queen Rania Street in front of Al-Qistas markets, where drainage outlets were created to drain the water and distribute it to the side roads, and a new drainage line will be created in the area tomorrow, Friday.

Emergency teams created a drainage line in the Al-Bayada roundabout area to resolve the problem of high water levels at the site.
Al-Azzam explained that minor accumulations of rainwater on some roads were due to slight depressions in them, which did not affect traffic or the movement of citizens, stressing that the municipality is monitoring all fault locations so that they can be addressed as soon as the storm ends.

He pointed out that some of the problems caused by the low pressure system were due to the flooding of some sewage lines at the Darawsha intersection and the entrance to the new Al-Aghwar complex, and on Eidoun Street in front of Al-Jamil Cinema. The Yarmouk Water Company was notified of all these malfunctions to work on solving them immediately. Also, some projects that are still being implemented for a number of service companies caused problems as a result of soil erosion and water flooding.
