Injuries, recovery and checks:

Today (10) new cases of coronavirus were recorded, all of them local, as follows:

(7) Cases of Jordanians coming from abroad, who reside in Al-Hajar hotels. (1 from Saudi Arabia, and 6 from Egypt).

- (3) Cases of truck drivers coming across the Al-Omari border, including (2) Jordanians, and (1) of another nationality, which were dealt with according to the established protocol.

This brings the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 1121.

(19) recoveries were also recorded today, all in Prince Hamza Hospital.

- 5148 laboratory tests were performed, bringing the total number of examinations that have been conducted so far to 374708.

Other actions:

With the continuous expansion of opening sectors and allowing most of them to operate, the Ministry of Health affirms the necessity to adhere to preventive measures, wearing masks, and physical distance; The risk of the epidemic is still persistent despite the low number of cases of coronavirus at the local level.

- The Ministry of Health also stresses the importance of using the (safety) application to contribute to protecting individuals from contact with infected persons, and detecting cases of infection early, while emphasizing people who have received alerts via application because of their contact with infected people, the need to urgently review the specialized centers to reveal their cases.
