Jordan | Rainfall amounts recorded during the unstable weather conditions
Arab Weather - On Tuesday, the Kingdom was affected by a state of atmospheric instability, which resulted in thunderstorms of varying intensity in several governorates, leading to the flow of valleys and a rise in water levels in specific areas, according to information received by Arab Weather, while the Tafila monitoring station recorded the highest amount of rainfall at 17.1 mm.
It should be noted here that the recorded rainfall amounts fall within the framework of the main monitoring stations in the governorates, but many other areas within the same governorates have witnessed higher rainfall amounts. This is attributed to the nature of the weather condition, which is characterized by randomness in the distribution of rainfall, as some areas received high rates of rainfall (amount of rainfall per unit of time) without others, which led to the formation of torrents and the flow of valleys in a noticeable way.
