Weather of Arabia - Dr. Novan Al-Ajarma , Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education, issued a circular to directors of education in governorates, regions, and districts, specifying school working hours during the period from 10/29/2023 until 4/14/2024 , in light of fixing daylight saving time.

Based on this directive, the morning queue in single-period schools will begin at 8:15 a.m. , with the first period starting at 8:30 a.m. and will last for 45 minutes.

As for double-shift schools , the queue for the morning period will be at 8:15 a.m. , with the start of the first period at 8:30 a.m. This session will extend for 35 minutes , and the 5-minute break will be cancelled.

As for the evening period in two-shift schools, the school day will begin at 12:50 noon , with the first session beginning at 1:00 pm , and this session will last for 35 minutes , with the 5-minute break cancelled.

The circular stressed that schools will open their doors to receive students at 7:45 am .
