Arab Weather - According to the latest weather maps, God willing, cumulus clouds are expected to continue flowing into the southwest of the Kingdom next week on a daily basis, concentrated in the highlands of the southwest of the Kingdom, including Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha, reaching the highlands of southern Makkah Al-Mukarramah, especially the highlands of Taif.

High clouds and thunderstorms accompanied by hail

As tropical moisture continues to flow throughout the atmosphere, various parts of the southwest of the Kingdom are expected to witness the development of high-altitude cumulus clouds, sometimes accompanied by heavy rainfall. These clouds are also often associated with hail, as their vertical growth reaches the upper atmosphere, which helps water droplets freeze and turn into hail.

We would also like to note the possibility of downdrafts, which usually accompany the development of cumulus clouds, which may lead to dust storms in some areas.
