Iraq | The heat wave intensified at the end of the week

Arab weather - Temperatures continue to rise in Iraq during the weekend, and the heat wave is further intensifying, as it is expected to reach record levels in the south of the country during the next two days.

52 degrees Celsius expected in Basra under the shade

Temperatures are recorded in all Iraqi cities at very high levels, but the southern cities will be most affected by the heat wave, as the city of Basra is expected to record 52 degrees Celsius on Friday under the shade.

Because of this incendiary atmosphere, the Arab Weather recommends:

1. Do not go out during the day unless necessary
2. Wear light-colored and loose-fitting hats and clothing when going out
3. Drink plenty of water and cold, sugar-free fluids
