Arab Weather - The Supreme Court called on all Muslims across the Kingdom to sight the crescent moon of Dhu al-Hijjah this evening, Tuesday, the 29th of Dhu al-Qi'dah, 1446 AH.

This came in a statement by the Supreme Court, the text of which is as follows:

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions. Now then:

In view of what was included in Supreme Court Decision No. (194/H) dated 10/29/1446 AH that Tuesday 11/1/1446 AH - according to Umm Al-Qura calendar - corresponding to 4/29/2025 AD, is the first of Dhul-Qi'dah for the year 1446 AH; the Supreme Court requests all Muslims throughout the Kingdom to look for the crescent moon of Dhul-Hijjah on the evening of Tuesday 11/29/1446 AH - according to Umm Al-Qura calendar - corresponding to 5/27/2025 AD.

The Supreme Court requests that anyone who sees it with the naked eye or through binoculars report to the nearest court and record their testimony, or contact the nearest center to assist them in reaching the nearest court.

The Supreme Court hopes that those who have the ability to show concern for this matter will join the committees formed in the regions for this purpose, and seek reward and recompense for participating, as it involves cooperation in righteousness and piety, and benefits all Muslims.

And Allah is the Grantor of success. May God’s prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.
