Arab Weather - The latest output of the numerical models processed by the Air Operations Department at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicates that Iraq is affected, starting from Sunday and during the rest of the week, by a very hot air mass accompanied by a shallow temperature depression, so there is a significant rise in temperatures and the weather is hot to very hot In all areas, with the appearance of clouds at different heights over some areas, the opportunity remains for local thundershowers of rain in limited parts of the far north of Iraq.

The hot air mass intensifies in the second half of the week

The effect of the hot to very hot air mass intensifies in the second half of the week, so there is an additional rise in temperatures, and the weather is hot to very hot and exhausting in all areas, coinciding with the continued appearance of clouds at different heights over some areas.

Temperatures exceed the mid-40s in some areas

It is expected that the maximum temperatures in the first half of the week will be between the mid-to-late thirties in the western regions, while they will be between the early and mid forties in the rest of the regions, including the northern ones, in addition to the capital, Baghdad.

However, with the heat intensifying after the middle of the week, the maximum temperatures will be in the forties in the western regions, and around the mid-forties of Celsius to slightly higher in the southern regions, especially the southern ones.

Al-Bawareh wind activity from Sunday to Tuesday

On Sunday, northwesterly winds that increase in intensity will be blowing in parts of northern, central and southern Iraq on Monday and Tuesday (locally known as the Al-Bawareh winds) that are moderate to active in speed and accompanied by strong gusts that raise dust and dust and may form dust waves, where the weather is dusty, especially in central In the south of the country, there is a significant decrease in the extent of horizontal visibility.

But on Wednesday and during the rest of the days, the intensity of the Al-Bawarih winds decreases, and the winds become variable in direction and light to moderate in speed, sometimes active in some areas and raising dust when active.

Hot weather most nights of the week

God willing, night temperatures are expected to rise significantly compared to the previous nights in the coming days, especially after the middle and end of the week, when the weather will be hot over many areas, especially in the central and southern regions, but the weather will tend to moderate at the late night hours and dawn in some areas. The weather will be warm in the northern mountains for the coming days.
