Dakar Rally 2023 | King Fahd Port begins to receive the vehicles of the participants

Weather of Arabia - Dakar Rally 2023 competitors began arriving in Saudi Arabia to compete in the race, which will start on December 31.

Today, Wednesday, the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) announced that King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu will receive the Italian ship Jolly Fandio, which contains the vehicles of the 2023 Dakar Rally contestants.

The authority published, through its Twitter account, a video clip of the port located in western Saudi Arabia, as it received the ship coming from the French port of Marseille, which contained 712 cars, 5 helicopters, 22 containers and 61 motorcycles.

And the head of the General Authority for Ports, Omar Talal Hariri, published a tweet in which he said, "We are proud of the efforts of the port champions in entering all types of goods smoothly."

"In addition to the infrastructure enjoyed by Saudi ports to support the various commercial, tourism, sports and entertainment sectors, which in turn contribute to achieving the goals of the national strategy for transport and logistics services," he added.

It is noteworthy that the fourth edition of the Dakar Rally 2023 starts from the Red Sea camp, which consists of 14 stages with a track of 8,500 km, to be concluded on January 15 in Dammam.
