Arab Weather - Sinan Khalaf - The forecast staff at the Arab Regional Weather Center monitors moment by moment the latest developments and developments in the state of atmospheric instability affecting the Kingdom, which is expected to continue and intensify on Friday, Saturday and during the beginning of next week, God willing.

It includes the regions of Riyadh and Makkah  

Thunderstorms renewed in many regions of the Kingdom on Friday  

According to the latest weather forecast issued by the Arab Weather Center, it is expected that cumulus thunderstorms will multiply again on Friday, God willing, along the southwestern and western highlands, and include Jazan, Asir, Al Baha and the eastern slopes of them, in addition to Taif and perhaps Makkah and the holy sites, and with the evening hours extends Rain opportunities to include parts of the Riyadh region administratively, especially the western parts of it, and may affect the city of Riyadh to a limited extent in the form of thunderstorms accompanied by active winds and dust.

It is accompanied by downward winds and dust waves

More heavy rain and more rain on Saturday

On Saturday, the effect of the rainy situation is expected to focus more towards the north, and it is expected that the rains will be thundery and heavy at times in several parts of the Kingdom, especially on Hail, Al-Qassim and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and it will be accompanied by showers of cold and thunderstorms. It is not excluded the formation of wall sandstorms caused by downward winds that love thunderclouds in the areas of Medina, Hail and Qassim, working to decrease and possibly reduce the extent of horizontal visibility.

Thunder clouds are also active in parts of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and parts of the Riyadh region, and may reach the capital at times. Thunder clouds are also active in separate parts of Jazan, Asir, Al Baha, Taif, and possibly the city of Makkah.

The rainy conditions will reach their peak on Sunday

Heavy thunderstorms and warning from the flow of valleys and torrential rain on Sunday

On Sunday, the area of the rainy state expands and its strength increases further, to include all the southwestern and western highlands from Jazan to the heights of Madinah, including Asir, Al Baha, Taif and Makkah Al-Mukarramah. And the entire northern border region, and it is expected that rain will be heavy sometimes in many of these areas, accompanied by showers of cold, and may be preceded by downward winds that raise dust and dust.

If and based on the foregoing, it is not recommended to camp and go out in the campers and land trips in most regions of the Kingdom on Friday and Saturday, due to the activity of thunder clouds and the accompanying strong downward winds or rain and hail showers.

These unstable weather conditions require attention from:

• Danger of severe thunderstorms and lightning
• The danger of wadis and torrential flows in low-lying areas and mountain slopes
• The danger of strong downward winds and the accompanying lack of horizontal visibility due to dust
