طقس العرب- اجتاحت السيول مقاطعة بويندي شرق أوغندا الاثنين، عقب الهطول الغزير للأمطار؛ مسببةبوفاة 20 شخصًا على الأقل.

 

وبين حاكم مقاطعة بويندي في تصريحات صحفية، أن الأمطار الغزيرة  تسببت في توقف الحياة اليومية بشكل كبير.

 

كما ألحقت الأمطار  أضرار بـ  200 منزل على الأقل، ووفاة نحو 201 شخًا منهم 17 طفلًا، وإصابة أكثر من 200 آخرين.

 

ويوجد في أوغندا موسمين من المطر: الأول يمتد من مارس/آذار إلى مايو/أيار، والثاني من سبتمبر/أيلول إلى ديسمبر/كانون الأول.
