تشير التنبؤات العددية إلى احتمالية نشاط التكونات المحلية على جبال الحجر والمناطق الصحراوية في السلطنة يوم الثلاثاء الموافق ٢٥ من تموز يوليو ٢٠١٧، نتيجة لتعمق المنخفض الحراري لطبقات الجو العليا وارتفاع مؤشر العواصف الرعدية نتيجة لارتفاع ما يُسمى بـ الحمل الحراري.
