موقع ArabiaWeather.com- قررت السلطات في ولاية نيويورك شرق أمريكا إغلاق جميع الطرق والجسور في مدينتي نيويورك ولونغ ايلاند بسبب عاصفة جوناس الثلجية التي تجتاح أجزاء واسعة من البلاد.

 

وأعلنت ولاية نيوجيرسي المجاورة، على لسان حاكمها جون كريستي حالة الطوارىء بسبب الثلوج المتساقطة وحظرت استعمال الجسور مع نيويورك.

 

وفي نيويورك، فرضت سلطات الولاية والبلدية حظراً على التجوال بالمركبات وجميع المواصلات العامة بما فيها الباصات والقطارات ونشرت شرطتها لتنفيذ حظر استخدام جميع الطرق من قبل كافة المركبات اعتباراً من الساعة الثانية والنصف بعد الظهر.
