Arab Weather - Yesterday, citizens in Nineveh Governorate, northern Iraq, spotted a funnel cloud forming during a thunderstorm, coinciding with the region being affected by a state of atmospheric instability.

The situation was accompanied by the development of strong cumulonimbus clouds and a noticeable increase in updrafts within the clouds, which led to the appearance of this swirling cloud formation.

Over the past few days, various regions of Iraq have experienced unstable weather conditions, including thunderstorms and rainfall of varying intensity, with the weather system continuing to affect them intermittently.
