The subtropical high pressure system is affecting the Arabian Peninsula early.

Arab Weather - Computer maps in Arab Weather indicate that large parts of the Arabian Peninsula will be affected during this period by the extension of the subtropical high pressure system, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain, in addition to the UAE, Oman and Yemen.

The Arabian Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula being affected by this high-pressure system at this time of year is unusually early, as such weather patterns are not typically recorded during this period of the year.

The subtropical high-pressure system heats the air mass and the air in the lower layers of the atmosphere, leading to a significant rise in temperatures, making them higher than their usual averages for this time of year. Temperatures may reach 30 degrees Celsius in several areas of the aforementioned countries, and may exceed that in a number of regions, including the capital, Riyadh.

This high-pressure system also generally weakens the chances of rainfall, with stable weather prevailing in various parts of the Arabian Peninsula during the coming days, God willing.
