موقع " طقس العرب " الالكتروني – تتعرض السواحل الجنوبية الشرقية للهند حالياً لأمطار غزيرة ناتجة عن العاصفة المدارية نيلام مصحوبة برياح قوية تصل سرعة الهبات المرافقة لها إلى 100كم/ساعة.


وتُظهر آخر صور الأقمار الإصطناعية الملتقطة تركز الأمطار الغزيرة حاليا في منطقة  puducherry الساحلية جنوب شرق الهند.


وكانت السلطات الهندية قد أعلنت حالة التأهب القصوى لمواجهة العاصفة المدارية نيلام بعد أن تطورت بشكل خطير فوق مياه خليج البنغال ، وسارعت السلطات المحلية بإغلاق المدارس والمؤسسات التعليمية في شمال مقاطعة tamil nadu  بهدف تحويلها إلى ملاجئ  ومراكز للإغاثة وتوزيع المساعدات.


ويتوقع ان تزداد حدة الأمطار الغزيرة والرياح خلال الفترة القادمة مع توغل مركز العاصفة المدارية  فوق الأراضي الهندية مما سيعمل على حدوث أضرار مادية وفيضانات في عدد من المناطق.
