موقع ArabiaWeather.com- تسببت الأمطار الغزيرة التي شهدتها الهند خلال الأيام الماضية في تعطيل حركة المرور على نطاق واسع في مدن هندية كبرى وفي سيول جارفة في شمال شرق البلاد أدت إلى مقتل 12 شخصا على الأقل.

 

كما جرى إجلاء حوالي 50 ألف شخص من جنوب وشرق الهند؛ نتيجة السيول والفيضانات.  حيث تسببت الأمطار الغزيرة والعواصف في ارتفاع منسوب المياه إلى مستويات خطيرة لتلحق أضرارا بالمحاصيل وتسبب انهيار أكثر من ثلاثة آلاف منزل.

 

وتزداد مشكلة الفيضانات خلال هذه الفترة من السنة في الهند؛ نتيجة موسم الرياح الموسمية؛ لأن البنية التحتية والمصارف المغلقة والتوسع العمراني يكون خارج نطاق السيطرة.
