موقع ArabiaWeather.com- سجلت منطقة نيابة ليما التابعة لولاية خصب شمال سلطنة عُمان هُطول كميّات طوفانية من الأمطار بلغت الـ415 ملم، مما تسبب في تشكُل سيول جارفة، و ذلك جراء تأثر سلطنة عُمان بمُنخفض جوي.

 

المنطقة الواقعة في شبه جزيرة مسندم تعرضت لأحوال جوية متطرفة من ناحية قونها، و شملت هطول كميات شديدة من الأمطار ترافقت مع حدوث العواصف الرعدية والرياح الهابطة، مما حولها إلى مجراً للسيول الجارفة.

 

و قد استفادت سلطنة عُمان من هذا الهُطول المطري في تخرين كميات كبيرة من المياه في السدود،حيثُ تم احتجاز ما مقادره ملايين الأمتار المُكعبة من المياه خلال فترة لا تتجاوز الـ48 ساعة.
